This senior leadership role shapes the science strategies that underpin crop protection product development, regulatory advocacy, and long-term competitive positioning across the European region.
Accountabilities:
- Develop innovative science strategies and capabilities that solve current challenges and anticipate future regulatory and sustainability needs
- Lead Syngenta's external advocacy through regional technical associations, providing industry leadership on strategic science issues
- Proactively manage the Science Strategy portfolio of projects in Europe, ensuring delivery against advocacy and business ambitions
- Provide technical leadership internally and externally, driving connected knowledge transfer across the organization and collaboration with key stakeholders
- Develop talent within the team, ensuring succession plans and individual development plans are in place
