Review of Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing (MEP) design documents such as drawings, specifications (“specs”), Owner’s Project Requirements (OPR), and Basis of Design (BOD) to evaluate energy efficiency.
Perform measurement, verification, commissioning, and retro-commissioning.
Provide, prepare, and develop Pre-Functional and Functional testing forms in compliance with green building practices.
Collect data for energy conservation analyses, using jobsite observation, field inspections, and submetering.
Conduct periodic site visits for observation and acceptance of Pre-Functional tests.
Inspect and monitor energy-related systems, including heating, ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC), lighting, power distribution, domestic hot water, and pumping to determine energy use and potential energy savings.
Witness Functional testing on site to verify the proper installation and programming of new or relocated equipment and systems per green building practices.
Prepare project reports and related documentation.
Prepare documents such as Current Facility Requirement (CFR) and Operation and Maintenance (O&M) plans, Systems Manuals, Ongoing Commissioning (Cx) plans, Cx summary reports, etc.
Conduct Post-Occupancy reviews after project substantial completion.
