Purpose:
According to the company strategy defined by the Plant Manager, the Supply Chain Manager manages the entire logistics and sales administration department to guarantee the performance level of internal and external logistics flows, with a view to continuous improvement and compliance with customer requirements, deadlines, costs, and quality, safety, and environmental standards. This role also supports the Operations Director as a face-off for customers when required.
Key Responsibilities / Essential Functions:
- Lead and optimize the entire supply chain function (planning, procurement, customer service, logistics)
- Define and drive monthly sales forecasts and operational action plans
- Ensure high customer satisfaction through efficient organization and OTIF performance
- Implement procurement and inventory strategies aligned with cost and stock optimization targets
- Design and manage warehouse and logistics flows to support production continuity
- Build and manage budgets (HR, purchasing, operations) while monitoring performance and savings
- Lead, develop and coach cross-functional teams, fostering engagement and performance
- Analyze inventory and continuously improve stock policies and coverage
- Monitor KPIs and Lean indicators to drive operational excellence
- Act as a key interface between departments (purchasing, quality, production, customer service) and external partners (suppliers, carriers, customers)
