A Recall Specialist in the automotive industry is responsible for managing vehicle recalls and field actions to ensure compliance with safety, emission, and regulatory standards, coordinating with internal teams, dealerships, and affected customers.
Primary Responsibilities
- Informing and guiding the network during recalls, with initial communication via official registered mail and additional follow-up by e-mail and phone
- Launching an formalizing recalls with the official local authorities on the status and progress of ongoing recalls.
- Tracking, documenting, and reporting recall progress through system such as Salesforce or internal dashboards to ensure completion of repair initiatives and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Providing translations where necessary to support internal and external communication.
- Internal publication and timely communication to the network regarding upcoming recalls and the associated actions
- Providing support in the preparation and management of documentation and cases files required for legal proceedings
