The Role
The incumbent will lead the India Talent Acquisition team for automotive OEM positions and represent India on global platforms. Key responsibilities include:
- Lead and manage a team of 6–7 recruiters to deliver on India market hiring needs.
- Act as the single point of contact for recruitment requests from business heads and departments.
- Drive recruitment priorities and invest in the development of team members.
- Design, develop, and maintain recruitment processes across all job roles.
- Conduct interviews and make hiring decisions for delivery roles.
- Strong hands-on experience with ATS platforms (e.g., Smart Recruiters, iCIMS, Taleo, Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, or similar) with the ability to drive data accuracy, reporting, and pipeline visibility.
- Proven capability in managing recruitment escalations, including stakeholder conflict resolution, critical position closures, and SLA-driven hiring demands.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret ATS data and convert insights into actionable hiring strategies.
- Interact with the global TA team to discuss open positions and align strategies.
- Lead global calls for business discussions and represent the India TA team on global forums.
- Optimize recruitment costs by selecting effective sourcing channels.
- Ensure recruitment reporting requirements are met regularly.
