We are currently seeking a Lost Inventory Clerk, 1st Shift to join our team. In this role, you will ensure that company inventory remains balanced, assists in maintaining inventory records, and maintains inventory accuracy across the distribution center
A day on the job looks like this:
- Checks warehouse inventory against computerized records and ensures all inventory is accounted for in WMS
- Reviewing and auditing inventory activities, including movements and adjustments that occur throughout the building
- Scheduling Inventory counts to clear up any discrepancies
- Assign workloads to counters
- Researching staging locations to ensure accuracy
- Reconciling inventory discrepancies by detailed research into the different functions used throughout the warehouse
- Researching previous adjustments and make new adjustments as needed
- Learning all areas of the distribution center to learn how an item is lost and help promote ways to prevent inventory from becoming lost
