We are seeking a dedicated, student-centered Secondary Teacher to join our faculty for the 2025–26 school year. In this role, you will be responsible for fostering a rigorous and inclusive learning environment, empowering students to master core competencies while preparing them for college, career, and community leadership.
Instructional Excellence
- Create engaging, standards-aligned lessons that challenge students to think critically and solve complex problems within your subject area.
- Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet the diverse needs and learning styles of students.
- Utilize modern Ed technology and digital tools to enhance instruction and prepare students for a tech-driven world.
- Assess student learning through formative and summative assessments, providing timely feedback and adjustments.
Classroom Culture & Management
- Establish and maintain a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and respects all students.
- Use proactive classroom management techniques to maximize instructional time and promote positive student behavior.
Professionalism & Collaboration
- Collaborate with peers to develop interdisciplinary connections and share high-leverage teaching strategies.
- Participate in ADE-required professional development and stay current with pedagogical research and state standards.
- Maintain transparent and consistent communication with parents and guardians regarding student achievement and holistic well-being.
Institutional Support
- Mentor students through academic and personal growth milestones, including recommendations for post-secondary opportunities.
- Support school-wide initiatives such as student recruitment, community events, and the development of school culture.
- Additional tasks as requested to support student achievement, school culture, and team collaboration.
