Position Overview
The Temporary Student Engagement Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring students successfully access, engage in, and persist in school. This role is primarily focused on removing barriers to student attendance and retention through proactive outreach, data-driven intervention, and strong family partnerships.
While the position supports targeted recruitment efforts, it is not a recruitment- or enrollment-only role. Instead, the Coordinator is responsible for strengthening student engagement from onboarding through sustained attendance and persistence, ensuring that every student and family feels connected, supported, and set up for success.
This role is based at the regional office and works closely with school and regional teams, including Assistant Principals of Operations (APOs), parent liaisons, the Student Information Systems (SIS) team, and the enrollment team. The Coordinator will be specifically aligned to VOICE but will operate across campuses as needed.
