KIPP Jacksonville Public Schools seeks teachers for our summer school classrooms for Summer 2025. Interested candidates don’t have to be current KIPP Jacksonville employees to apply for this position, but they should already have certificated fingerprints on file with Duval County.
Teachers are assigned one grade level and are responsible for creating a positive classroom environment, implementing curriculum, assessing students, collaborating with their team, building relationships with families, and other duties as assigned. Full teacher responsibilities are ultimately outlined by the summer school admin team.
We will be partnering with Teach for America for summer school this year. Summer school teachers need to be comfortable having a second adult in the room with them as incoming Teach for America corps members will complete pre-service training at our school site.
