Role summary
We are seeking a hands-on Software Engineer with proven experience deploying enterprise-grade Generative AI solutions to join our Advanced Analytics & Research – GenAI team. The GenAI team has a dual mandate: we own and deliver specific high-value GenAI features for the platform while also serving as the center of excellence that guides product teams across the organization in adopting GenAI responsibly and effectively. In this role, you will balance building our team's owned AI capabilities with rotating across product engineering teams to provide expert guidance, hands-on support, and governance oversight.
The Challenge
GenAI technology evolves faster than any single team can track. Without active governance, teams will inevitably diverge—choosing different models, building redundant components, and missing opportunities to adopt emerging best practices. Our team ensures the organization benefits from rapid AI advancement while maintaining architectural consistency and reusability across all product teams.
What you’ll do
What Success Looks Like
You will be successful when you consistently deliver high-quality features for our team's roadmap, when product teams you've worked with can independently maintain and evolve compliant AI features, when your reusable patterns are adopted across 3+ teams, and when architectural reviews show consistent alignment with enterprise standards across all GenAI implementations.
Team Context
You will join a team of software engineers and data scientists who collectively serve as the organization's GenAI center of excellence. The team owns specific platform AI capabilities while also providing governance, reusable services, and embedded consulting support to product engineering teams across the company. You will collaborate closely with teammates who may be embedded with other teams or working on our owned roadmap.
Qualifications
Nice to have
Working model
You will balance two modes of work: contributing to your core team's owned AI features and rotating across product teams as an embedded specialist. When embedded, you will serve as your team's representative, ensuring architectural alignment and reusability, and enable sustainable handoffs so product squads can independently maintain compliant AI features after your engagement. You will work closely with your teammates who may be engaged in similar embedded work with other teams, sharing learnings and maintaining consistency in guidance across the organization.
