We’re hiring a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to produce engaging, high-quality video content across social media, marketing campaigns, training materials, and branded content.
This role is responsible for transforming raw footage into polished, platform-optimized videos that align with brand messaging and drive engagement. You’ll work across multiple content styles including short-form social videos, paid ads, explainers, promotional content, and long-form educational or corporate material.
This is not just a basic editing role. We’re looking for someone who understands storytelling, pacing, audience retention, and how video performance connects directly to marketing and business goals.
The ideal candidate combines strong technical editing skills with creative instincts, organization, and the ability to deliver polished work consistently in a fast-paced remote environment.
• Edit raw footage into polished, engaging videos for social, web, marketing, and internal use
• Create compelling narratives through pacing, sequencing, transitions, and storytelling
• Ensure edits align with brand voice, campaign goals, and platform best practices
• Produce short-form and long-form content optimized for engagement and retention
• Deliver clean, professional edits with strong attention to detail
• Add titles, captions, lower thirds, callouts, logos, and motion graphics
• Incorporate branded visuals consistently across all deliverables
• Create simple animations and visual enhancements when needed
• Maintain visual consistency and high production quality across projects
• Sync audio and video accurately
• Improve audio quality through noise reduction, balancing, and mastering
• Add licensed music and sound effects aligned with brand tone
• Perform color correction and color grading for a polished final look
• Export and optimize videos for YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and web platforms
• Deliver multiple aspect ratios and file formats for various platforms and campaigns
• Optimize compression, quality, and performance without sacrificing visual clarity
• Ensure videos are platform-ready and aligned with publishing requirements
• Collaborate with marketing teams, creative leads, and stakeholders throughout review cycles
• Manage revisions efficiently while maintaining organization and version control
• Organize project files, raw footage, assets, and archives for long-term accessibility
• Use tools like Frame.io, Google Drive, Dropbox, or similar collaboration platforms
• Strong creative eye with attention to pacing, storytelling, and engagement
• Highly organized and capable of managing multiple editing projects simultaneously
• Comfortable working across different video styles and formats
• Open to feedback and collaborative review cycles
• Strong understanding of social media content trends and audience behavior
• Able to balance speed, quality, and consistency under deadlines
• 2+ years of professional video editing experience
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve
• Strong understanding of audio editing, syncing, and color correction
• Experience exporting and optimizing content for social media and web platforms
• Strong file management and workflow organization skills
• Excellent attention to detail and time management
• Reliable high-speed internet and professional remote work setup
• Experience with Adobe After Effects or motion graphics creation
• Experience editing paid ads, UGC content, or performance marketing creatives
• Familiarity with marketing KPIs such as CTR, engagement, and watch time
• Experience in SaaS, e-commerce, agencies, media, or content-driven businesses
• Understanding of social-first editing styles for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts
