Main responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate airline operations (OPS) of Marabu in close collaboration with the Operational Control Center / Dispatch, focusing on passenger experience and wellbeing during all flights and irregularities
- Monitor the fulfilment of service agreements with external service providers
- Assess the financial impact of operational decisions (e.g. overnight vs. diversion, EU261 compensation vs. leasing external ACMI, etc.)
- Handle administrative tasks such as emails and daily, weekly, and monthly reporting
- Provide ad-hoc support in case of disruptions (in collaboration with operational departments such as OCC, Crew Control, MOCC, etc.)
- Take an active role in finding quick and practical solutions for passengers affected by delays, cancellations, diversions, or overbookings
- Support and guide airport stations in handling passenger issues (e.g. ticketing, immigration, or DCS system topics)
- Participate in the development of new processes and tools to enhance team efficiency
Requirements
- Airline operations and/or passenger handling/support experience in the aviation industry
- Understanding of operational processes of a commercial airline in the EASA environment
- Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel
- Ability to think out of the box to find creative and financially reasonable solutions
- Excellent communication skills
- A solution-oriented attitude with attention to details
- An operations-focused and customer-oriented mindset
- Fluency in English (additional languages, such as German, are an advantage)
