Overall purpose and responsibilities of the role:
The Supply Chain Planner is responsible for executing production and supply chain plans by coordinating closely with EMS partners and internal teams to ensure on-time delivery, material availability, and smooth production flow. The role focuses on managing forecasts, monitoring inventory and production status, resolving operational issues, and maintaining alignment between demand and supply through regular coordination with stakeholders, ensuring efficient and reliable execution in an electronics manufacturing environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Managing EMS & build up good communication & relationships.
- Act as the primary point of contact with EMS partners, coordinating daily with their customer service, planners, and production teams.
- Managing forecast & APO processing.
- Conduct forecast analysis and monitor fluctuations from the sales team; support execution of existing plans (not high-level S&OP ownership).
- Review CTB & Production Plan from EMS.
- Lead weekly CTB (Critical to Build) calls and review material status and production plans on a regular basis.
- Managing EMS demand & loading.
- Coordinate capacity and loading requirements with EMS; support vendor negotiations on capacity.
- Work closely with Sales, R&D & NPI team to generate the delivery plan.
- Collaborate with Hong Kong-based Program team and internal stakeholders to align delivery timelines and order commitments.
- Monitoring EMS performance, ensuring manpower & capacity meet business needs.
- Track EMS production activities, follow up on delays, and ensure on-time shipment execution.
- Maintain inventory level at an acceptable level.
- Manage and monitor inventory on-site at EMS, ensuring material availability and minimizing risks.
- Collect the data from EMS and identify the production risk, update the revenue report for Top management review.
- Flag production/material risks proactively and provide insights for management reporting and decision-making.
- Ad hoc operation project as assigned.
- Handle additional tasks such as PVV spot pricing, logistics coordination, and negotiations with forwarders/shipping companies.
- Daily follow-up on order status, delivery timelines, and material availability with EMS.
- Respond to internal inquiries related to production, planning, and order status.
- Conduct weekly alignment calls with EMS and Hong Kong sales team.
- Participate in monthly on-site EMS meetings and provide planning insights.

Requirements
- At least 2 years of related experience (preferably more).
- Experience in EMS coordination and supply chain planning is highly preferred.
- Bachelor degree in Supply chain management or related disciplines.
- Strong planning and negotiation skills.
- Able to work under pressure and work independently.
- Basic understanding of the S&OP processes.
- Fluent English.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Strong Excel skills required for reporting and analysis.
- With the Microsoft Navision system experience is an advantage.
- Experience with ERP systems such as Navision or SAP is preferred (Navision currently used).
- Immediately available.
