Formulate plans and recommend solutions to the System Program Office (SPO) to mitigate obsolescence issues impact on the Minuteman III Weapon System (MMIII WS) platform, sub-systems, LRUs, and SRUs
Carry out major assignments from Engineering staff on obsolescence studies, to include presentation of findings and plans for operational execution to the MMIII stakeholder community
Provide expert advice to SPO Leadership on best courses of action for weapon system operations related to government owned technical data (including AFTO Form 22/252 or commercial equivalent)
Access, interpret, and recommend changes to engineering drawings utilizing data repositories such as “A-TEAM” software or commercial equivalent
Extract and prepare Technical Orders Illustrated Part breakdown data, essential for accurate WS information in the Ark.ai platform.
Evaluate drawings to capture complete WS parts intelligence for MMIII community use
Perform analyses & resolution of Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS)
Identify and solve DMSMS issues to reduce Mission Capability (MICAP) incidents, back orders, depot repair awaiting parts (AWPs) and increase systems availability for Air Force managed Weapon systems
Perform technical and logistical analysis and provide detailed technical data to support the replacement of components
Update analysis and resolution information into the Air Force DMSMS predictive tool

Requirements
Education/Training:
Bachelor’s Degree in management or other relevant discipline required
Experience:
2 years combined experience working with senior technicians while supporting a sustainment environment such as military d+epot or equivalent
Security:
Must be a US citizen
Ability to obtain a security clearance will be required
Active Secret clearance or higher preferred
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and use of computer screens
Frequent wrist, hand, and finger movements using a keyboard, mouse, and handwriting
