About the role
As a Fabrication Engineer II at D-Wave New Haven, you will be responsible for the manufacturing of both discrete and fully-integrated superconducting QPU parts, using clean room facilities located both in-house and at Yale University, under the training and supervision of senior fabrication staff. Quantum devices use materials and design requirements that make the fabrication process significantly different from standard CMOS processing; your role will be to execute the process, monitor the results, and identify and troubleshoot problems as they occur. You will also be responsible for designing and executing experiments to improve parts of the process and driving the development of new processes for our next-gen integrated QPU fabrication.
In addition to production, you will assist in the process of bringing up D-Wave’s new in-house fabrication facility in New Haven in 2027, including installation and qualification of new tools and processes.
