Job Summary
The Distribution Administrator supports the day-to-day operations of the distribution team, helping ensure music releases are prepared accurately and delivered on time. This role is hands-on with metadata entry, quality assurance, release setup, and administrative support, while also working with internal tools and data to keep everything running smoothly.
You’ll play a key role in getting music out into the world—ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, highly organized, and excited to work in a fast-paced music and tech environment.
Responsibilities
Support the distribution team with daily operations, including:
- Entering and reviewing metadata to ensure accuracy and consistency
- Queuing music releases using internal distribution tools (Label Engine)
- Coordinating with internal teams and external partners to support successful release delivery
- Creating pre-save links using Feature.fm
- Maintaining spreadsheets and handling administrative tasks with a high level of accuracy
- Dig into internal data and tools to surface insights and support ongoing team projects
- Review and interpret data to help inform day-to-day decisions
Qualifications
- A recent graduate with an interest or experience in record label operations
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized with the ability to manage large volumes of data efficiently
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with streaming platforms (Spotify, Apple Music, Beatport, etc.) and social platforms (TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, X, Facebook, Snapchat)
Pay Scale
- $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
- The final compensation within this range will be determined based on the candidate’s experience, skills, and overall fit for the role.
