👩💻 Your impact
As an Android Software Engineer, you will be a key contributor to ViCentra’s growing in‑house mobile engineering team and the long‑term evolution of the Kaleido App.
The app is currently being developed by an external partner. Once delivered, ownership transitions fully to ViCentra and to the team you will be part of. You will help take the app forward through maintenance, enhancement, and future feature development, ensuring it remains robust, user‑focused, and compliant with medical‑device regulations. Working closely with the Mobile Engineering Manager and cross‑functional teams, your work will directly impact patient safety, product quality, and ViCentra’s ability to scale its technology globally.
This is a hands‑on engineering role with real‑world impact, building mobile software that interfaces with regulated medical devices and is used every day by people who depend on it.
🔧 What you’ll take on
In your role, you will:
Design, implement, and maintain Android applications (Kotlin) used in conjunction with ViCentra’s medical devices
Contribute across the full software development lifecycle, from concept and architecture through testing, release, and maintenance
Write clean, well‑structured, and testable code aligned with design specifications and best practices
Participate in code reviews, knowledge sharing, and collaborative problem‑solving within the mobile team
Support verification, validation, and release activities, including required documentation
Ensure compliance with Quality Management Systems and applicable medical device standards
Collaborate closely with usability, testing, systems, cloud, quality, and regulatory teams
Contribute to building a best‑in‑class mobile development environment within a regulated context
Continuously improve technical skills and stay current with Android and mobile development trends
