Product Designer

This opportunity is ideal for a Product Designer passionate about crafting intuitive, user-centered digital experiences within complex and fast-paced environments. The role focuses on transforming business and user needs into seamless mobile and web experiences, combining strong UI execution with strategic product thinking. The successful candidate will join a multidisciplinary team of designers, engineers and product professionals working on large-scale digital platforms across telecommunications, banking, retail and other high-impact industries.

Mission

As a Product Designer at Desquared, you will play a key role in shaping innovative digital products by leading end-to-end design processes that translate business objectives into compelling and functional user experiences. Working closely with product managers, engineers and stakeholders, you will contribute from concept to launch, ensuring high-quality design execution and consistency across products and platforms.

You will be responsible for creating intuitive interfaces for mobile and web applications, conducting user research and usability testing, developing scalable design systems and reusable componentsutilitizing design systems and components, and continuously improving experiences based on user insights and data. The role also requires strong collaboration and communication skills, as you will work cross-functionally to align product vision, user needs, and technical feasibility while contributing to a culture of innovation and design excellence.

You will be responsible for:

• Crafting clear, engaging and highly functional user interfaces for mobile apps and web applications.
• Collaborating closely with product managers, engineers and stakeholders from project inception to launch, ensuring design consistency and quality.
• Participating in the complete design lifecycle, including user research, wireframing, prototyping, user testing and final UI delivery.
• Advocating for user needs by applying usability principles, conducting research and translating insights into innovative design solutions.
• Continuously iterating based on user feedback and data to optimize user flows and interface elements.
• Communicating design concepts effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders, fostering alignment and shared understanding.
• Staying up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies and best practices in product design.

Requirements

Must Have

• Experience inproduct design, including mobile apps (iOS & Android).
• Expertise with Figma, including a solid understanding of design tokens and variables.
• Familiarity with usability testing, user research methodologies and accessibility standards.
• Portfolio samples of user-centric projects.

Nice to Have

• Experience with AI-assisted tools such as Claude Code or Cursor.
• Experience with web and mobile software development processes.
• Background working in high-impact sectors such as telecommunications, financial services, retail, or SaaS.
• Previous experience in startup or scale-up environments, contributing to fast-paced and innovative projects.
