As a GL Accountant, you will apply your expertise in general ledger accounting while taking on broader responsibilities beyond day-to-day tasks. This role offers the opportunity to grow into a key user position, get involved in projects, and contribute ideas to enhance accounting processes across the organization. Responsibilities
- Execute day-to-day accounting activities which may include maintenance of a complete and accurate general Ledger accounting and preparation of financial reporting in line with Service Level Agreement with the business
- Prepare and post journal entries for month-end and year-end closing processes
- Conduct related General Ledger (GL) closing activities ensuring they are completed in time and accordance to the group guidance
- Manage Fixed Assets ledger
- Prepare, document, and keep up to date operating procedures for accounting role
- Perform Monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations, account clearing and investigate any discrepancies
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions
- Assist in the Internal and External audit process by providing necessary documentation and responding to audit inquiries
- Ensure all oral and written interaction with all business partners – internal and external is at highest professional standards
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and process enhancement of General Ledger
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience
- Few years of experience in General Accounting in a multinational environment
- Written and verbal fluency in English (at least B2)
- Knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures
- Good communication, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Flexible approach with a strong team spirit

- Professional style when dealing with business clients
- Compliance & controllership mindset
- Proficient IT skills including Excel and Outlook
- Knowledge of SAP platform
- Experience in transition of functions would be an advantage
