At TYTAN, we aim to set a global standard in autonomous air defense with AI-driven, cost-efficient systems that counter unmanned aerial threats at scale. We protect people. We protect critical infrastructure. We protect European sovereignty.
We are looking for an Electrical Engineer to design and validate power systems, wiring harnesses, and ensure electromagnetic compatibility in complex environments for advanced UAV platforms. This role focuses on real-world deployment, working across fixed-wing and VTOL aircraft, including transitioning platforms.
You will take electrical systems from design to flight, creating electrical architectures, selecting components, writing production procedures, integrating and validating performance through hands-on bench and flight testing in operational environments.
Own the end-to-end electrical architecture and EWIS lifecycle for UAV platforms, from early design to operational deployment
Design, implement, and validate robust wiring harnesses and cable management solutions for fixed-wing and VTOL aircraft
Define and optimize power distribution systems, including battery integration, protection concepts, and power solutions
Integrate and ensure reliable operation of avionics, payloads, radios, and onboard computing hardware
Take electrical systems from design into real aircraft, ensuring reliability in harsh operational environments
Perform hands-on integration, debugging, and testing, both on the bench and on the aircraft
Lead and support ground and flight testing, including instrumentation, failure analysis, and iterative improvements
Ensure EMI/EMC-aware design practices and robust signal integrity across all systems
Collaborate closely with airframe, avionics, and software teams to ensure system-level coherence
Document electrical architectures, wiring diagrams, and integration procedures in a clear and maintainable manner
Support compliance with Bundeswehr (Bw) requirements and relevant aerospace standards where applicable
