At TYTAN, we aim to set a global standard in autonomous air defense with AI-driven, cost-efficient systems that counter unmanned aerial threats at scale. We protect people. We protect critical infrastructure. We protect European sovereignty.
We are looking for a Junior Avionics Engineer to grow alongside our engineering team as we build and deploy advanced UAV platforms. This is a hands-on role where you will learn to integrate electronics systems across fixed-wing and multicopter interceptors. If you are passionate about UAVs, eager to get your hands dirty with real hardware, and ready to contribute from day one, we want to hear from you.
Support the integration of flight controllers, companion computers, sensors, radios, and payload systems into UAV platforms
Assist in implementing and validating onboard communication architectures (MAVLink, CAN, UART, Ethernet)
Contribute to hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing setups, bench testing, and lab bring-up activities
Help debug hardware-software integration issues across avionics subsystems
Write and maintain Python and C++ scripts for system configuration, logging, and test automation
Support flight testing activities including system monitoring, data logging, and post-flight analysis
Assist in documenting system architectures, interfaces, and integration workflows
Collaborate closely with the Systems, GNC and C2 teams on cross-functional tasks
Contribute to system health monitoring, fail-safe definitions, and fault detection
