Airport and Business Systems Head
Responsibilities
- Ensures that the airport and business corporate systems, including third-party communication links (e.g. ISPs), maintain 24/7 operational availability of no less than 99% annually.
- Leads and manages 24/7 operations, maintenance, compliance and renewal of the airport and business corporate systems in line with industry best practices to support critical airport operations.
- Manages ICT operations and performance of airport and business corporate systems (both on-premises and hosted on the cloud) to ensure operational effectiveness and efficiency.
- Oversees ICT problem management and incident management processes.
- Liaises with the aviation business department for the smooth operation of ICT systems.
- Collaborates with internal technical teams and leads vendors to propose overall technical solutions and key performance indicators to measure success.
- Strategizes and develops system roadmap and implementation plans.
- Manages the capacity management process and the associated update and development of the infrastructure.
- Performs proper project and change management to ensure delivered solutions meet technical, functional, performance and business requirements.
- Sets general guidelines, perform, review, monitor, enhance and supervise the ICT Operational Procedures as part of the continuous improvement effort.
- Develops long range plans for systems development, replacement and hardware acquisition.
- Benchmarks, analyzes, reports on and makes recommendations on the improvement and growth of the ICT airport and business corporate systems, ensuring systems design and service models align with current and future business needs.
- Leads Disaster Recovery planning, documentation, Business Impact Analysis, Business Continuity inputs and deliverables, of the airport and business corporate systems.
- Manages all SLAs and MOUs of the airport and business corporate systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as Computer Science, IT, Systems Engineering or related discipline
- Master's degree and relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM or other similar ISC2 certifications, CCNP) are considered a plus
- Minimum 5 years of professional work experience in a complex airport environment in information technology in a high volume, 24/7 operating environment, including project management, operations of large-scale enterprises, supervisory experience and customer service, is required.
- Certifications in IT Service Management (ITSM) and IT Project Management (e.g. CITPM PMP, Prince2, Scrum) are preferred
- Strong competency in cloud services, networking, and server infrastructure, with proven experience in enterprise IT support and cost optimization strategies
- Excellent knowledge of English language, both oral and written
