If you feel fit the role’s requirements, apply for the “Terminal Operations Coordinator” The ideal candidate will support safe, efficient, and compliant airport terminal operations, including passenger handling and PRM (People with Reduced Mobility) services. Additionally, the role contributes to operational planning, KPI monitoring, technical systems coordination, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement of terminal procedures in accordance with ICAO, IATA, HCAA, and EU regulations.
What will you be doing?
- Support the Terminal Operations Manager in daily terminal operations
- Assist in developing, updating, and implementing operational procedures
- Monitor terminal operations to ensure compliance with regulations and guidelines
- Review operational reports, ensuring proper case closure and follow-up
- Contribute to defining requirements for PRM systems, facilities and equipment
- Support procurement processes for operational tools and equipment
- Monitor PRM facilities and systems, reporting disruptions and coordinating issue resolution with relevant departments.
- Assist in developing technical concepts for PRM services, terminal improvements, and IT&T related projects
- Support PRM service development in line with EU Regulation 1107/2006
- Track KPIs, analyze performance, and recommend operational improvements.
- Prepare operational, compliance, and performance report
- Maintain documentation and provide administrative and project support
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in technical roles related to terminal operations and/or PRM services and technical works related to PRM
- Fluency in Greek and English, both written and spoken, at a professional level.
- Strong knowledge of airport terminal operations, passenger handling processes, and the provision of PRM assistance services, along with a solid understanding of related safety and security regulations, and the ability to interpret and develop technical project descriptions.
- Certification in public transport accessibility is considered an asset.
- Good knowledge of IATA terminal operations standards, ICAO Annexes related to PRM services, and EU Regulation 1107/2006 and ECAC Doc. 30 requirements.
- Operational understanding of key airport systems, including BHS, FIDS, as well as terminal facilities and passenger processing.
- Ability to travel frequently to the FG airports
- Fulfilled Military Obligations, if applicable.
