Position Summary
Responsible for accurately pulling components for Work orders to support the Production Schedule. Kitting and identifying the work orders as they are completed so Production Material handler can identify and locate the appropriate production line.
Schedule
2nd shift Monday - Friday 3:00 pm - 12:00 pm
Overtime may be required for this position
Responsibilities and Essential Duties
- Complete a handwritten Daily Forklift Checklist before the start of each shift.
- Required to operate forklift trucks and/or pallet jacks in a safe, efficient manner after training.
- After training, must be able to pass company certification training for company equipment within 90 days.
- Must be able to maintain a safe and clean work environment at all times by following the GMP and SOP guidelines.
- Follow and abide by the Company Employee Manual at all times.
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance daily.
- Assist other warehouse personnel in daily cleaning operations.
- Complete other duties as assigned by the warehouse Supervisor or Manager.
Technical Skills Required
- Ability to read and understand formulas, procedures, and SOPs.
- Able to understand and operate Scan equipment after training.
- Strong math and computer skills.
- Accurate and legible record keeping skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
Experience Required
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Ability to operate or to be trained to drive a forklift or pallet jack. 0-6 months experience.
Physical Requirements
- Regularly sit, stand, and walk for extended periods of time.
- Ability to sit, balance, climb, stand, bend, squat, squeeze, kneel, turn, crouch, and stoop repeatedly.
- Physically able to lift 75 pounds and manipulate up to a 500-pound drum on a regular basis.
- Frequent exposure to varying temperatures, loud noises, heavy machinery, fumes, or airborne particles.
- Prolonged use of computer screen and/or scan gun.
