Position Summary
Responsible for the cleaning of various Compounding vessels and equipment in a timely manner following all procedures and GMPs.
Schedule
This position will start with Wednesday - Sunday 3:00 pm - 1:30 am and transition to a Friday - Sunday 4:00 pm - 4:00 am schedule
Overtime may be required for this position.
Responsibilities and Essential Duties
- Cleaning and sanitizing of Compounding vessels and equipment.
- Clean filters, hoses, pipes, walls, pails, totes, rollers, tables, and floors, ensuring proper cleaning procedures are followed.
- Clean and sanitize tank farm tanks and pumps.
- Clean and sanitize P3 storage tanks.
- Operate the CIP Skid to clean and sanitize P1 and P3 tanks.
- Clean and organize platform decks.
- Break down, clean, and re-assemble various fittings and blending equipment related to mixing tanks.
- Transfer finished bulk into pails, drums, totes, and/or portable tanks.
- Assist Compounders with making batches, if needed.
- Break down and clean various types of pumps for Compounding.
- Complete all required cleaning documentation and attach to cleaned and staged equipment.
- Assist Compounding personnel in cleaning of equipment needed to start the day on fill lines.
- Ready equipment for other shifts.

Experience Required
- High school education or GED equivalent.
- Has worked in a manufacturing environment
Physical Requirements
- Regularly sit, stand, and walk for extended periods of time.
- Ability to sit, balance, climb, stand, bend, squat, squeeze, kneel, turn, crouch, stoop repeatedly.
- Physically able to lift 75 pounds and manipulate up to a 500-pound drum on a regular basis.
- Frequent exposure to varying temperatures, loud noises, heavy machinery, fumes, or airborne particles, wet floor moving mechanical parts, electrical, chemicals, and vibrations and working at a high platform.
- Prolonged use of computer screen.
- Must be able to discern differences in colors and shades.
- Good eye/hand coordination
- Ability to seize, hold, grasp, turn, or otherwise working with hand or hands
