We are currently seeking a skilled Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our Mine Maintenance team. As a Heavy Duty Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of heavy mining equipment and vehicles, ensuring maximum equipment availability and performance.
Your main responsibilities will include:
Diagnosing mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic faults on heavy mining equipment and performing timely and effective repairs.
Performing routine maintenance, inspections, and preventive maintenance activities to ensure equipment reliability and longevity.
Troubleshooting complex multi-system issues and identifying root causes to minimize equipment downtime.
Repairing or replacing defective components such as engines, transmissions, hydraulic systems, and electrical parts.
Completing accurate maintenance reports, work orders, and documentation of all work performed.
Adhering strictly to safety standards and procedures while maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
