Role Overview
The Senior Quality Technician's function is to perform various inspection duties, create and collect inspection data, work closely with Engineering and suppliers to resolve issues, and maintain document control in accordance with AS9100 and ITAR requirements.
What You'll Do...
- Perform visual and mechanical inspections using measurement and test equipment that includes, but is not limited to: pin gages, calipers, micrometers, bore gages, height gage, profilometer, optical comparator, CMM, and GOM scanner
- Measure components and compare results to Engineering drawings that contain GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) and industry standard specification controls
- Create, develop, and implement inspection processes based on customer specifications
- Create and run part measurement programs using PC DMIS
- Collaborate with Quality & Manufacturing Engineering to resolve any issues found during product realization
- Assist with creating and maintaining the Quality Management System (QMS) such as calibration records, Key Performance Indicator (KPI) tracking, and document control
- Create inspection documentation and collect and verify all data for customer data packet or CoC packet
- Identify and record non-conformances using various software
- Assist with root cause analysis and corrective actions

You have...
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience working in a quality position
- Experience working in an AS9100 (or similar standard) manufacturing and inspection environment
