As a Quality Technician at NTS Hengelo - Additive Manufacturing, you are the quality guardian on the production floor. You are an indispensable link in the production process and ensure that our high-tech components meet the strictest customer requirements. Pragmatic where possible, precise where necessary: you know exactly when speed is required without compromising on quality.
NTS Hengelo - AM is a scale-up under the NTS Group umbrella. You work in a compact, close-knit team with one clear specialization: additive manufacturing at the highest technical level. In a team of this size, your role is broad, and your impact is immediately visible. You work closely with production and engineering, are not afraid to roll up your sleeves, and actively contribute to a clean, safe, and efficient work environment through the 5S principles.
Within NPI projects, you provide technical input on manufacturability, coach your colleagues on quality standards, and are the driving force behind continuous improvement on the shop floor. Quality is not a department here; it is a shared responsibility, and you are the one who embodies that.
Independently performing checks, including sampling, First Article Inspections, and final inspections;
Restarting and programming CMM measuring machines, preferably with PC-DMIS or Quindos;
Interpreting complex technical drawings and assessing for accuracy, tolerances, and GPS standards;
Advising on the manufacturability of products, especially during NPI projects in collaboration with engineering;
Identifying deviations in the process, analyzing the cause, and proposing structural improvements;
Coaching colleagues on the shop floor in adhering to quality standards and 5S principles;
Accurately recording measurement results in the designated systems to ensure traceability.
We are looking for a skilled Quality Technician with a hands-on mentality and the following background:
A completed technical education at MBO or HBO level, preferably in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics;
Relevant work experience as a quality controller or technician in a high-tech or manufacturing environment;
Demonstrable experience in programming and operating CMM measuring machines, preferably PC-DMIS or Quindos;
In-depth knowledge of reading technical drawings and form and positional tolerances according to GPS standards;
A pragmatic, decisive work style with a keen eye for detail and improvement potential;
Strong communication skills: you know how to convince and coach colleagues in a positive way;
Good command of the Dutch and English language in speech and writing, given the drawings, work instructions, and collaboration with international colleagues.
