About the role
Intealth is seeking a nearshore Information Security Analyst to support its growing security operations following the launch of the MyIntealth platform. This role is designed to augment a lean internal security team by providing reliable, day-to-day security operations and engineering support, helping the organization scale securely without increasing internal headcount.
The Information Security Analyst will act as a trusted extension of the internal security team, focusing on Tier 1 security operations, endpoint and cloud security support, and incident response activities. This role is ideal for a proactive security professional who can quickly onboard, communicate effectively, and operate independently after initial training.
As a nearshore resource with AspenView, the analyst will provide strong overlap with U.S. business hours, clear and consistent communication, and a lower-risk alternative to traditional offshore support. The engagement is expected to begin as a clearly scoped pilot, with the opportunity to expand responsibilities based on performance, business needs, and budget approval.
This position emphasizes hands-on execution, accountability, and collaboration, enabling Intealth’s security leadership to focus on strategic initiatives while maintaining high operational security standards.
What you will do:
- Provide Tier 1 security operations and engineering support for Intealth’s growing security environment following the launch of the MyIntealth platform.
- Monitor, triage, and respond to alerts from Microsoft Defender and related security tools, escalating issues when needed.
- Support endpoint security initiatives, including MDM, DLP, and secure configuration baselines.
- Assist with incident response activities, including investigation, documentation, and remediation support.
- Perform daily security operations tasks, troubleshooting security-related issues across endpoints, cloud services, and identity platforms.
- Support risk, compliance, and policy initiatives, including documentation, control validation, and security awareness activities.
- Collaborate closely with the internal Information Security and Information Services teams, maintaining clear and proactive communication.
- Maintain accurate documentation of processes, incidents, and security improvements.
- After onboarding, operate with a high level of autonomy, identifying issues and proposing solutions without constant supervision.
- Participate in a clearly scoped pilot engagement, with the opportunity to expand responsibilities based on performance.
What you bring:
- 2–5 years of experience in Information Security, Security Operations, or IT Security support, with hands-on exposure to day-to-day security operations.
- Experience monitoring and triaging alerts using Microsoft Defender (Endpoint, Identity, and Cloud) and supporting endpoint security initiatives.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Azure AD (Entra ID) environments.
- Experience supporting MDM solutions (such as Intune or similar) and DLP/data protection controls.
- Familiarity with incident response fundamentals, common security threats, and endpoint protection concepts.
