Private Family is looking for a live-in fluent English/Spanish-speaking Nanny/Governess to take care of 3 children (age 5-10 y.o).
Nanny/Governess will conduct a unified curriculum for the children (home schooling), with full support from online teachers for the main subjects and take on nanny duties, supporting the overall care of the children when not engaged in educational activities.
This is a rotational traveling position based across Europe, Latin America, and the UAE.
Rota is 6-7 weeks (2 nannies for 3 kids per shift, 24/7 work), then a fully-paid rest for 6-7 weeks, and so on.
All travel expenses (accommodation, tickets, etc.) are covered by the Family.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct a unified curriculum for the children, with additional support from online teachers for the main subjects.
- Engage the younger child in developmental tasks during the older children are on online classes.
- Assist the older child with homework and clarify challenging material after the main lessons.
- Create and maintain a special learning space, ensuring proper posture and writing techniques, providing physical guidance as necessary.
- Take on nanny duties, supporting the overall care of the children when not engaged in educational activities.
- Collaborate with the second nanny/governess in your shift to follow a unified educational program for all children, ensuring consistency and teamwork.
- Assist in the preparation and organization of educational materials in advance.
- Teamwork and effective communication are essential to ensure the best outcomes for the children’s development and education.
- Accompany the family on travel, ensuring continuity of the children's education and providing support during trips and vacations.
- Maintain a high level of discretion, professionalism, and confidentiality when dealing with the family's personal matters.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Education or a relevant subject area; advanced degrees or teaching certifications are a plus.
- Relevant experience working as nanny and governess/tutor not less than 3 years.
- Ability and flexibility to travel.
- Valid travel documentation permitting international business travel, including to European countries.
- Driving licence (a plus).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport and trust with both children and parents.
- Adaptability, flexibility, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Cultural sensitivity and an understanding of the family's values and traditions.
- First Aid and CPR certification, or a willingness to obtain these certifications.
- Willingness to undergo a thorough background check.
