Lenskart is not a traditional eyewear company. We are a technology-first, vertically integrated retail machine operating 2,000+ stores across India, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East — and we are accelerating. This is your mandate: own the complete marketing engine that will take Lenskart from a dominant Indian brand to a globally recognised name, while deploying AI as a core operating tool across every dimension of how we build, grow, and communicate.
You will be the architect of brand love, customer acquisition, and cultural relevance at scale. You will run performance and brand marketing as a single, unified growth system — driven by data, powered by AI, and executed with creative boldness. This is one of the highest-impact marketing leadership roles in Indian consumer tech, and it is wide open for someone ready to build something generational.
Own the full brand vision for Lenskart — positioning, narrative, and long-term equity — across all markets and channels
Use AI-powered consumer intelligence tools to track brand perception, identify cultural opportunities, and stress-test creative strategy in real time
Build and run a systematic brand experimentation framework, using AI to rapidly test messaging, visual identity, and campaign concepts before committing budget at scale
Lead large-scale ATL campaigns (TV, OOH, Print, Digital Video) with rigour — using AI tools for media mix modelling, audience targeting, and post-campaign attribution
Drive customer acquisition and revenue growth across Google, Meta, programmatic, and emerging channels — treating every rupee of budget as a precision instrument
Deploy AI and ML tools for dynamic bidding, predictive audience segmentation, creative fatigue detection, and real-time campaign optimisation
Own shared P&L accountability for marketing-driven revenue, with full transparency into CAC, LTV, ROAS, and payback periods across all cohorts
Build a test-learn-scale culture where AI accelerates the feedback loop from hypothesis to decision
Redefine how Lenskart creates content — integrating AI tools (generative creative, copy optimisation, personalisation engines) into the day-to-day workflow of the marketing and creative team
Scale content output without scaling headcount, by building AI-augmented production pipelines for social, performance, and brand content
Ensure all content decisions are grounded in performance data, while never losing the creative spark that makes a brand memorable
Lead Lenskart's social strategy across all platforms — owning the intersection of cultural relevance, community building, and commercial conversion
Build an influencer ecosystem that goes beyond paid reach — identifying authentic brand advocates and structuring long-term partnerships that drive trust at scale
Use AI-powered social listening and trend intelligence tools to move at the speed of culture, not the speed of a content calendar
Build, lead, and inspire a high-performing marketing organisation — setting the standard for analytical rigour, creative ambition, and AI fluency
Establish AI literacy as a baseline expectation across the marketing team — running upskilling initiatives, piloting new tools, and creating a culture where experimentation is celebrated
Act as a strong cross-functional partner to Product, Retail, and Tech — ensuring marketing is an engine that the whole business relies on, not a support function
Experience: 8–12 years in marketing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role at a high-growth D2C, consumer tech, or omnichannel brand. You've built and scaled brands, not just maintained them.
AI & Tech Fluency: You are not waiting to learn AI — you are already using it. You have hands-on experience with AI tools in marketing (creative, performance, analytics, or automation), and you have strong opinions on where the technology is heading and how it changes the CMO role.
Performance + Brand Duality: You are equally at home reading a media attribution model and approving a brand film. You understand that performance and brand are not opposites — they are multipliers of each other.
Proven Revenue Impact: You have directly influenced topline growth through marketing, with measurable outcomes across CAC, LTV, conversion rates, and brand health metrics.
Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
AI-Native, Not AI-Curious. You believe AI is not a feature of marketing — it is the new operating system. You actively seek out new tools, pilot them with your team, and build institutional capability rather than individual expertise.
Bias for Scale. You think in systems. When something works, your first instinct is: "How do we do this ten times bigger?" You build processes, playbooks, and platforms — not just campaigns.
Creative + Commercial. You hold the tension between emotional brand-building and hard business outcomes without flinching. You know that the best marketing does both at the same time.
Intellectually Restless. You are genuinely excited by the pace of change in marketing technology, consumer behaviour, and media. You bring new thinking into the room and push your team to be ahead of the curve, not behind it.
Transformational, Not Transactional. You lead with vision, earn trust through clarity, and drive change by bringing people with you — not by issuing mandates.
