Key Responsibilities
- Design, provision, and maintain dopay's cloud infrastructure on AWS using Infrastructure as Code
- Build, optimise, and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, CircleCI) to enable rapid, reliable deployments.
- Implement and maintain comprehensive observability: metrics (Prometheus / Grafana), logging (ELK / CloudWatch), and alerting for financial SLAs.
- Lead on security and compliance hardening: network segmentation, IAM policies, secrets management (Vault / AWS Secrets Manager), and PCI-DSS controls.
- Own disaster recovery planning, backup strategies, and runbook documentation for all critical infrastructure components.
- Participate in on-call rotations and lead incident response for infrastructure-related outages affecting payment processing.
- Collaborate with backend engineers to define service deployment standards, containerisation practices, and performance baselines.
- Drive cost optimisation across AWS infrastructure rightsizing, reserved instances, and usage monitoring.
Requirements
- 5–7 years of DevOps / SRE / Platform Engineering experience in a production cloud environment.
- Deep hands-on expertise with AWS EKS, ECS, RDS, S3, CloudFront, VPC, IAM, Lambda.
- Strong Terraform skills for provisioning and managing cloud resources across environments.
- Solid experience with Kubernetes (EKS or GKE): deployments, Helm charts, auto-scaling, network policies.
- Proficiency in CI/CD tooling GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or CircleCI.
- Linux administration and shell scripting (Bash / Python) for automation and operational tasks.
- Experience with security best practices in financial or regulated environments: encryption, access controls, audit logging.
- Track record of achieving and maintaining high-availability SLAs (99.9%+) for critical services.
