The Furniture Sander is a vital member of the production team, responsible for the final surface preparation of wood furniture and frames. Working in a high-volume manufacturing environment, you will interpret production tickets, utilize specialized sanding tools and jigs, and perform minor wood repairs to eliminate defects. Key Responsibilities:
Production Oversight: Reading and interpreting production tickets to ensure each piece is sanded according to specific design requirements.
Precision Sanding: Manually sanding wood furniture and frames using a variety of specialized jigs, hand tools, and power equipment.
Defect Repair: Identifying and repairing minor wood defects using appropriate fillers, tools, and materials to ensure a seamless surface.
