Our Global Innovation & Research team is looking for two skilled and passionate Chemists to support the development of cutting-edge personal care products with a strong focus on sustainability. These are temporary maternity leave cover roles (approximately 5 months), starting in mid-June and at the end of July.
In this role, you will develop and refine cosmetic formulations, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to deliver high-quality results. You will contribute to innovative, high-performance products while supporting our sustainability ambitions in a fast-paced environment
Develop new or improved cosmetic formulations based on research, market trends, and regulatory requirements.
Conduct experiments, tests, and analyses to evaluate the performance and stability of cosmetic formulations.
Innovate new product concepts and enhance existing formulations to meet market demands and customer needs.
Proactively support the Sustainability Manager in initiatives aimed at enhancing sustainability across product formulations and processes.
Effectively communicate technical sustainability aspects to internal teams and other stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment with corporate sustainability goals.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of formulations and products.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive product development from concept to commercialization.
Proactively propose initiatives to improve product performance, sustainability, and overall quality.
Stay abreast of emerging trends, technologies, and regulations in the cosmetic industry.
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in chemistry, cosmetic science, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in cosmetic formulation and development.
Proven track record of successful product launches.
Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage tight deadlines effectively.
