Why this role matters
The Office Manager is the operational backbone of JNBP’s Taiwan office, ensuring that day-to-day corporate functions run smoothly and efficiently for a lean, high-performing team. This role is the central point of contact for all corporate administrative, compliance, and financial management matters, enabling the rest of the team to focus on JNBP’s core offshore wind mission.
Reporting directly to the Taiwan OSW Head, the Office Manager oversees corporate governance, compliance, financial management coordination, general office administration, and ICT matters. Given the compact size of the Taiwan office, this role requires a hands-on, versatile approach — equally comfortable managing vendor relationships, liaising with JNBP HQ on financial reporting, and ensuring the office operates in full regulatory compliance.
In this role you will:
Corporate Financial Management
· Manage the company’s day-to-day financial administration, including oversight of accounts payable and receivable, expense tracking, and petty cash management, ensuring accuracy and timeliness across all financial records.
· Manage and coordinate the outsourced accounting and tax service provider, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of monthly financial statements, tax filings, statutory reports, and other required submissions in accordance with Taiwan regulatory requirements.
· Prepare and submit regular financial reports to JNBP HQ, ensuring the accuracy of reported figures and alignment with group reporting standards and timelines.
· Maintain orderly financial records and documentation, support budget tracking, and liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure expense policies are followed consistently.
Corporate Administration & Office Operations
· Oversee general office administration including facilities management, procurement of office supplies, vendor management, and coordination of travel and logistics for the Taiwan team.
· Support company secretarial duties, including coordination of board and committee meetings, preparation of minutes, and management of regulatory filings and statutory records.
· Develop and maintain strong working relationships with JNBP HQ and within the JNBP Group to facilitate smooth information flow and operational alignment.
Corporate Governance & Compliance
· Maintain and update corporate policies and internal procedures, ensuring they remain current and aligned with Taiwan regulatory requirements and JNBP group standards.
· Identify and flag potential compliance and operational risks, ensuring issues are escalated promptly to the Taiwan Country Head and addressed in a timely manner.
· Support the coordination of internal and external audit processes, assist in implementing audit recommendations, and maintain documentation to evidence compliance with JNBP group audit requirements.
· Organise and deliver basic compliance awareness initiatives for the Taiwan team to promote a culture of integrity, accountability, and regulatory adherence.
Information Management & Data Security
· Oversee ICT coordination for the Taiwan office, acting as the local point of contact for ICT-related matters and liaising with JNBP’s ICT support as needed.
· Implement and uphold data security and document control protocols in line with JNBP group standards, ensuring confidential information is properly handled and protected.
