Design, support, and evolve enterprise automation solutions across two core platforms:
UiPath for RPA-based process automation and Microsoft Power Automate for cloud-native
workflow automation. This dual-platform role covers the full automation lifecycle, from
operating and optimizing existing RPA environments to building new automated workflows
integrated with Azure services and Microsoft 365. Candidates should be comfortable owning
work on both platforms and advising on when each is the right fit.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
• Provide operational support, issue resolution, and continuous optimization of production
UiPath environments, including Orchestrator administration, robot management, and
workflow troubleshooting.
• Develop, maintain, and improve UiPath automations using Studio and REFramework
patterns for attended and unattended processes.
• Design and build Power Automate cloud flows and desktop flows to automate business
processes integrated with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams, Dataverse, and Azure
services.
• Evaluate automation portfolios and provide platform-fit recommendations, including
when a UiPath process is a strong candidate for migration to Power Automate or Azure
Functions.
• Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to document processes, gather
requirements, and translate them into automation solutions.
• Contribute to architecture and design reviews for new or redesigned workflows across
both platforms.
• Monitor automation health, triage failures, and drive root cause analysis for production
incidents on either platform.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation including process definition documents
(PDDs), solution design documents (SDDs), and operational runbooks.
Required Skills and Experience
• 4+ years of hands-on automation development experience, with production-level work in
both UiPath and Power Automate.
• Deep UiPath proficiency: Studio, Orchestrator, REFramework, attended/unattended robot
deployment, queue management, exception handling, and Orchestrator credential
management.
• Strong Power Automate proficiency: cloud flows, desktop flows, approval workflows,
connectors, environment management, and Dataverse integration.
• Experience integrating automations with Azure services including Azure Functions, Blob
Storage, Logic Apps, and Microsoft Graph API.
• Solid understanding of when to apply RPA versus cloud-native automation patterns, with
the ability to make and defend that call.
• Experience working in client-facing or consulting environments, with clear written and
verbal communication to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proficiency with version control and CI/CD practices applied to automation development.
Preferred
• UiPath certifications (UiARD, UiRPA, or equivalent).
• Microsoft Power Platform certifications (PL-100, PL-200, or equivalent).
• Experience with automation platform migration or modernization projects.
• Exposure to AI-assisted automation: UiPath Document Understanding, AI Builder, or
intelligent document processing (IDP) pipelines.
• Background in professional services, financial services, or other regulated industry
environments.
