Role Overview
This is a high-impact, hands-on role responsible for how Used Cars NI shows up in the market and how its products are understood, adopted and valued by dealers and consumers. You will operate across brand, product marketing, dealer communications and campaign execution combining strategic thinking with strong delivery. You will take ownership of growth initiatives, identify opportunities, and drive measurable results, often working with a limited budget and prioritising the highest-impact activity.
Key Responsibilities
Content, Messaging & Brand Voice
Own the clarity, consistency and effectiveness of all Used Cars NI communication, setting the standard for how the brand speaks across every touchpoint.
Lead content and messaging across all channels, ensuring it is clear, distinctive and commercially effective. Translate product features into compelling value propositions for both consumers and dealers, and embed consistent messaging across marketing, product, sales and support.
Act as the guardian of Used Cars NI’s brand voice, raising the overall quality of communication across the organisation.
Brand Growth & Campaigns
Drive brand growth and market leadership across both consumer and dealer audiences.
Define and execute marketing activity that strengthens awareness, improves consideration and drives engagement, product adoption and retention. Deliver campaigns with a strong focus on performance, continuously testing and refining approaches, and prioritising low-cost, high-impact opportunities.
Partner closely with Sales to support lead generation, conversion and commercial outcomes.
Product Marketing & Commercial Impact
Ensure Used Cars NI’s products are clearly understood and valued in the market.
Own product messaging and positioning, supporting successful launches and ongoing adoption. Work closely with Product and Sales to align messaging with commercial priorities and improve how Used Cars NI communicates its value to dealers.
Leadership, Insight & Capability
Provide clear leadership across marketing, setting high standards for quality, performance and ways of working.
Bring a proactive and commercially focused mindset - identifying opportunities, challenging thinking and driving initiatives forward. Use data and insight to inform decisions, prioritise effectively and continuously improve marketing performance.
