We are looking for a hands-on ServiceNow Platform Manager to own, evolve, and harden our ServiceNow platform. This role sits at the intersection of architecture, development, and delivery, with direct accountability for production stability, technical quality, and scalable outcomes.
You will collaborate across multiple teams and stakeholders to translate business needs into reliable, secure, and maintainable ServiceNow solutions.
Here’s What You’ll Do:
- Own the ServiceNow platform end-to-end, including architecture, configuration, upgrades, releases, and production stability.
- Provide people leadership and technical direction for ServiceNow engineers and contributors, including coaching, prioritization, and day-to-day guidance.
- Design, build, and refactor solutions using server-side and client-side scripting, Flow Designer, and integrations.
- Enforce best practices across Flow architecture, scripting, table design, security, performance, scalability, and upgrade safety.
- Lead production releases, upgrades, and major incident / crisis handling.
- Drive process migrations and platform transitions (e.g., Catalog → CSM).
- Own Knowledge Management (KB) strategy, including structure, lifecycle, governance, and alignment with CSM and self-service.
- Collaborate on backlog and sprint management, including requirements refinement, prioritization, estimation, sprint planning, and delivery readiness.
- Perform technical quality gates, including code reviews, Flow and logic reviews, and Update Set validation.
- Maintain platform governance, standards, and overall technical quality.
What You Bring to the Table:
- 5+ years of strong hands-on ServiceNow development and administration experience.
- Proven experience in a people management role, with a track record of leading, coaching, and developing high-performing technical teams.
- Server-side scripting (Script Includes, Business Rules, Scheduled Jobs, Glide APIs).
- Client-side scripting (Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions).
- Deep understanding of ACLs, roles, and data access models.
- Experience with Flow Designer (architecture, performance, maintainability).
- Strong knowledge of table design, relationships, and data modeling.
- Proven experience with system upgrades, patching, and release management.
- SSO/authentication experience (SAML, OAuth).
- Experience working with ITSM and CSM; basic familiarity with ITOM is a plus.
- Experience and familiarity with REST / webhook–based integrations; Jira integration experience is a plus.

The estimated base salary range for this position is $120,000-$137,000 + bonus & equity.
