The Inventory Specialist will optimise and control high-value aviation component inventory across AJW’s global network, ensuring parts are positioned, utilised, and managed to support aircraft availability and customer commitments. This role sits at the centre of the aviation supply chain balancing operational demand, asset value, and lifecycle decisions across repair, trading, and procurement.
Working with airlines, MROs, and global suppliers, the Inventory Specialist plays a key role in reducing AOG risk, improving stock performance, and driving smarter, data-led inventory strategies directly contributing to AJW’s mission to transform aviation efficiency.
Manage inventory levels to balance availability, cost, and utilisation
Analyse stock performance (demand, usage, ageing, excess/obsolete)
Support forecasting and demand planning activities
Recommend actions (repair, scrap, sale, transfer, or purchase) to optimise value
Work cross-functionally to ensure stock supports customer and contract requirements
Monitor and report on inventory KPIs (stock turn, availability, ageing)
Identify risks (AOG exposure, excess stock) and implement mitigation actions
Support inventory strategy and continuous improvement initiatives
Ensure accurate system data and effective use of inventory tools
