The Engineering Manager is responsible of steering a group of related projects, subsidiary programs and program activities that are managed in a coordinated manner. Involves people management and resource management.
Directs more than one team or complex teams with multiple disciplines and/or related sub-disciplines. Responsible for determining structure and member roles. Members of their team have leadership roles over other teams in turn.
Establishes and implements business strategies with a long-term focus (typically three to five years) based on the organization's vision.
