Lead Product Quality Engineer_ EM

Then the role as Lead Engineer Product Quality (EPQ) for our Low Voltage (LV) Platforms in China offers you the ideal opportunity. For our QMM-AT department, we are looking for a convincing personality who is ready to build up our quality presence in a crucial growth region and act as a central point of contact for management.

Your New Role
As Lead EPQ for Asia, you are the central coordinator and first point of contact for all EPQ tasks in the EM/AT sector in China. You will interact on an equal footing with project and department heads and represent the interests of quality assurance in local management committees.
The role is twofold: Approximately 50% of your time will be spent working operationally as an EPQ in platforms, ensuring product maturity and process compliance. The remaining time will be dedicated to your strategic leadership and coordination tasks.

Your Main Tasks in Detail:

• Leadership and Coordination: You are the Lead EPQ for Asia and coordinate all EPQ tasks for our LV platforms in China.
• Team Development: You are responsible for building up the local EPQ team, including onboarding and mentoring new colleagues.
• Strategic Representation: As a delegate of BU/QMM, you represent the quality perspective in local steering committees and communicate on an equal footing with higher management levels.
• Operational Quality Work: You plan and request preventive quality measures (e.g., DRBFM, FAM, RM, QG), objectively assess product maturity, and report via the independent quality channel.
• Process Optimization: You drive the proactive simplification of processes tailored to the Chinese and global markets, strengthening our "From China, for China and for the world" strategy.
