Responsible for the reliability of design elements used and interacting in power electronics control units.
Definition, assessment, and continuous improvement of the design margins and robustness of design elements (e.g. PCBs, AVTs, mechanical interfaces).
Derivation, maintenance, and application of design rules based on load assumptions & derivations, damage mechanisms, and validation results.
Analysis and definition of load paths and load dissipation within electronic and mechanical designs.
Support of product development through reliability-based design reviews and concrete, implementable recommendations.
Definition and evaluation of calculations, simulations, and measurements to verify the load capability of design elements.
Support root cause analyses, failure analyses, and the definition of corrective and preventive measures.
Close collaboration with system, electronics, and co-designing w/ mechanics, and manufacturing teams.
Documentation of results and presentations within project teams and to internal stakeholders.
