Strong experience in AUTOSAR BSW testing (with sensors camera, video, radar, ultrasonic), including MCAL, ECU Abstraction, OS, and Services layers.
Hands-on testing of communication protocols – CAN, LIN, Ethernet, FlexRay, and diagnostics (UDS/DoIP).
Strong knowledge of ADAS sensors (camera, video, radar, ultrasonic).
Good understanding of sensor data interfaces, BSW integration, AUTOSAR know-how, Test architecture design for System Test (SIL/HIL/Vehicle).
Define and own end-to-end safety test architecture for ADAS Radar (Gen6/Gen7), ensuring compliance with ISO 26262 across sensor, ECU, and vehicle levels.
Develop ASIL-driven test strategies (ASIL B–D) for radar functions such as object detection, tracking, and classification, aligned with safety goals, HARA, and FSC/TSC.
Architect BSW safety testing approach covering MCAL, communication stacks (CAN, Ethernet), diagnostics, and OS, ensuring robustness of safety mechanisms.
Lead verification & validation (V&V) of radar safety functions including latency, signal integrity, interference handling, and degraded mode behavior.
Design and execute advanced fault injection strategies (sensor-level, ECU-level, and network-level) to validate diagnostic coverage and safety mechanisms.
Establish SIL/MIL/HIL-based validation frameworks using tools like Vector CANoe, dSPACE, and radar-specific simulators for corner-case validation.Integrate AI/ML-driven testing approaches (GenAI, anomaly detection, test optimization) to improve coverage, automate test generation, and enhance defect prediction.
Ensure end-to-end traceability and compliance using tools like IBM DOORS and Polarion, linking safety requirements to test cases and results.
Collaborate with system, safety, and SW teams to validate radar perception chain safety, including edge cases like multipath reflections, ghost objects, and environmental disturbances.
Lead safety audits, assessments, and release readiness, working with certification and mentor teams on best practices in safety, automation, and AI adoption.
