Your Responsibilities: Build a high-performing engineering organization in China that, in close collaboration with our global development teams, successfully delivers projects for the global automotive market; lead, coach, and mentor a group of specialized hardware engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and ensuring the continuous development of your team; drive strategic competence management for your group: define target competencies, perform regular skill assessments and implement development plans to close any gaps; manage all aspects of the employees' journey including recruiting, onboarding, and conducting goal and performance dialogues in alignment with project feedback, and handle all administrative aspects for your team (e.g., time recording, vacation planning, etc.); act as the central owner for resource management, ensuring projects are staffed with the right number of engineers with the right competencies at the right time; ensure the content-related excellence of all work products delivered by your team, providing technical coaching and guidance to solve complex challenges; drive continuous improvement of your group's engineering methodology, tools and processes to achieve efficiency goals and create space for innovation within global organization; provide content-related support for new business acquisitions and act as a key technical advisor for ongoing projects; retain ultimate technical ownership for the creation, management and release of key architectural work products, including the HW Requirement Specification and the overall HW Architecture; orchestrate the review processes to ensure the consistency, correctness and quality of all work results within the HW domain; act as the primary technical authority for your domain, contributing to high-level product design reviews and driving alignment on processes, methods, and tools within the global Bosch organization.
