About the Role
We’re not trying to “support R&D.” We’re trying to redefine how R&D works.
Technology is moving fast. AI is reshaping how teams build, think, and deliver. Most companies are reacting. We want to be ahead of it.
We’re looking for a Strategic People Partner who sees People as a system design problem, not a HR checklist. Someone who is deeply curious about AI, how work is evolving, and what high-performance looks like in modern engineering environments.
You’ll operate where technology, behavior, and organizational design collide, helping us build R&D teams that are fast, adaptive, and genuinely great to work in.
What You’ll Do
Design the next version of R&D: Work with engineering and product leaders to rethink org structures, team topology, and ways of working in an AI-accelerated world.
Cut through the AI noise: Translate “AI will change everything” into actual decisions: roles, skills, productivity, team composition. No fluff, just impact.
Rebuild People products for speed: Performance, hiring, onboarding, merit, talent… take what exists and make it work for builders. Less bureaucracy, more signal. If it slows teams down, it’s broken.
Bridge strategy and reality: Zoom out to define where we’re going. Zoom in to make sure it actually happens. No patience for strategies that live in slides.
Build teams for what’s next: Identify future capabilities early and make sure we have the talent to match. Not when it’s obvious, but before.
Upgrade leadership: Help leaders operate in ambiguity, make better decisions faster, and build teams that don’t burn out or slow down.
Protect what makes us human: As AI scales, double down on judgment, creativity, trust, and collaboration. The stuff that actually differentiates teams.
Use data, but think: Bring strong insights into decisions, but don’t hide behind dashboards when judgment is required.
