Reporting to the Spa Manager, key responsibilities and essential functions include, but are not limited to:
- Ensure all spa, wellness, and fitness areas are maintained in pristine condition throughout the day.
- Design individual training programs in line with the industry current trends and concepts.
- Provide personal fitness assessments, create workout programs, and offer fitness advice.
- Instruct guests on the correct and safe use of gym equipment.
- Promote wellness services and encourage guest participation in health-related activities.
- Conduct fitness classes or group training sessions, as applicable.
- Work closely with the Spa Manager, proactively contributing ideas for continuous improvement within 1-1 fitness.
- Build positive relationships with our members, guests and colleagues within the Spa.
- Maintain a visible presence and positive energy in the Gym when on shift.
- Assist in the set-up and reset of treatment rooms, including preparation before and after each guest.
- Deliver a wide range of spa services, including body treatments and massages, in a safe and comfortable manner.
- Customize treatments to address individual client concerns and goals.
- Recommend follow-up treatments and products after each appointment and guide guests in their choices.
- Promote and sell spa products.
- Maintain impeccable hygiene and cleanliness in all treatment areas.
- Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of changing rooms, wet areas (steam, sauna, Jacuzzi, showers), and relaxation lounges.
- Monitor and replenish spa amenities, guest supplies, and towels across all areas regularly.
- Maintain fitness center hygiene, cleanliness, and supply of amenities (towels, fruits, water, and disinfectant).
- Support spa reception with guest requests, product restocking, and administrative assistance.
- Collaborate with spa therapists to ensure timely room turnover and proper treatment room presentation.
- Report any maintenance or equipment issues promptly to engineering or spa leadership.
- Follow daily checklists, operational procedures, and opening/closing duties as outlined in spa SOPs.
- Greet guests with warmth and professionalism, offering assistance and guidance throughout their spa journey.
- Escort guests to appointments and provide support with spa facilities as needed.
- Maintain a calm, service-focused atmosphere, ensuring guest comfort, safety, and satisfaction at all times.
- Attend all assigned training sessions and departmental meetings to stay informed and aligned with brand standards.
- Comply with all health, safety, and hygiene regulations, ensuring spa facilities meet Fairmont standards at all times.
- Maintain professional grooming and conduct in accordance with hotel policies.
