The Runner is responsible for supporting the restaurant service team in ensuring smooth daily operations while maintaining the high standards of excellence and luxury expected at a Fairmont 5-star property.
This role contributes to delivering an exceptional dining experience for guests through attention to detail, outstanding service, and a strong commitment to quality and presentation standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the waitstaff with table setup and preparation, ensuring all items are clean, organized, and properly arranged.
- Deliver food and beverages promptly and accurately while following the hotel’s presentation and service standards.
- Anticipate guests’ and team members’ needs to ensure a seamless and efficient dining experience.
- Replenish and maintain service stations, including cutlery, glassware, and other operational supplies.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of service areas while complying with hygiene and safety regulations.
- Assist with the organization, storage, and maintenance of restaurant equipment and tableware.
- Clear, clean, and reset tables efficiently to support smooth restaurant operations.
- Provide support during special events and hotel activities as required.
- Comply with all Fairmont policies, operational procedures, and quality standards.
