As the Assistant Colleague Services Manager at Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise, you will support the daily experience of up to 900 residents. This community-focused role supports housing services, lifestyle programs, and team operations to ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming living environment. Job Duties Include:
Reporting to the Colleague Services Manager, responsibilities and essential job function include but are not limited to the following:
- Deliver excellent, thoughtful, and emotionally intelligent service to staff and residents
- Supervise, lead, and train a diverse team, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment
- Demonstrate a hands-on leadership style with a willingness to learn all agent tasks; confidently train team members and perform all duties required to achieve guest service goals
- Assist with the employee arrival experience, ensuring each new resident is provided with clean, well-maintained, and fully prepared housing
- Communicate, administer, and enforce policies and procedures outlined in the Colleague Housing Handbook and lease agreements
- Oversee daily housing operations, including assigning duties, managing the housing inbox, liaising with employees and residents, conducting daily briefings, and inspecting completed work
- Collaborate with Human Resources, Security, and Executive teams to maintain effective communication regarding resident relations and ensure appropriate support is provided
- Support departmental administration, including lease agreements/renewals, rent payments, employee and resident documentation, health and safety programs, uniform distribution, payroll coordination, waitlist management, unit assignments, mail processing, and resident services
- Work with the leadership team to achieve annual departmental goals, including developing and implementing action plans based on Employee Engagement and Colleague Services Survey results
- Manage inventory and order supplies as required
- Maintain a clean, safe working environment and actively participate in health and safety initiatives
- Adhere to all hotel environmental policies and sustainability initiatives
- Assist with additional responsibilities as assigned, including small projects such as suite, recreation, and common area renovations, as well as supporting new colleagues’ Housing Orientation
- Carry out any other tasks as assigned
