AIM is currently seeking a Ferrous Receiver for its Trois‑Rivières site, for a work schedule from Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Reporting to the Site Director, the Ferrous Receiver actively participates in the receiving, sorting, and shipping of ferrous metals.
What you'll be responsible for:
- Welcoming customers courteously and applying established procedures
- Unloading, sorting, and inspecting ferrous metals received on site
- Identifying the different types of metals and assessing their quality
- Operating, as required, industrial machinery and tools such as loaders, forklifts, torches, etc.
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety standards at all times
- Maintaining order and cleanliness of the work site
- Performing all other related tasks to support operations
