Position Summary
The Financial Analyst reports to the Marketing Credit Risk Manager and is responsible for performing moderately complex financial analysis and risk‑related activities within the marketing credit risk and Treasury support functions. This role applies working knowledge of accounting, finance, and risk/control principles to support defined process areas, identify financial risks, evaluate business solutions, and drive efficiency and accuracy through process improvement and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
Apply working knowledge of process, accounting, finance, and risk/control theories, practices, and procedures within the role.
Perform a range of moderately complex analytical assignments with ownership of limited‑risk process areas.
Analyze potential business solutions using established procedures and standard methodologies, with appropriate guidance and direction.
Collaborate with internal and external team members and participate in meetings to discuss analyses and analytical requirements supporting continuous improvement.
Identify opportunities for process improvement within the department and propose enhancements to improve efficiency, accuracy, and controls.
Identify and communicate financial risks within Treasury‑related processes and procedures.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field required.
Three (3) years of experience in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
Proficiency working in Salesforce is preferred.
Prior experience reviewing financial statements is a plus.
Skills
Must have strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to evaluate financial information and identify risks and improvement opportunities.
Effective written and verbal communication skills are required, along with the ability to collaborate with cross‑functional partners, follow standard procedures, and exercise sound judgment within defined guidelines.
Attention to detail, accuracy, and a continuous improvement mindset are critical.
Travel
Travel is expected to be up to 15%, based upon business needs.
